Tonight on Murder She Wrote:
Jessica travels to visit an old friend. Evie lives in a small, rural town and has for decades. She’s an eccentric artist and Jessica is immediately immersed in her world the moment she arrives.
Evie takes Jessica on a tour of her property - first to the garden to pick beans for dinner. They visit the old pottery studio which was recently renovated to become a modest apartment for apprentices. Currently it’s being inhabited by Marcela, a young student Evie has taken a shine to. Jessica may be mistaken, but senses there’s more to this relationship than Evie lets on. Marcela excuses herself to take a phone call. A large book on her coffee table is open to a page of illustrations that catch Jessica's eye. As she looks closer, she takes note of a graphic flower pattern - a textile motif she recognizes but can't place.
They eat the beans for lunch and drink homemade lemonade. It’s been a lovely day, but Jessica worries something is afoot. Marcella is never seen again. And the page Jessica saw has been ripped from the book.
What is the meaning of that flower? We may never know.
Drawn and printed by hand on the most brilliant blue jersey fabric. It's really magical, and looks incredible on everyone who puts it on. Raw neck and hems for an extra light and easy feel. Great for layering.
