Queen of the Art Dept, Susan, is always inventing new ideas for our scraps. Our latest favorite are these *darling* quilts made from the denim remnants from our Railroad Jumpers and Cakes. The stripes are sewn perpendicularly, making the most fun checkerboard pattern. The quilt's backing is made from our fav cotton gauze fabric remnants, and each is painted in a class STATE abstract pattern. The binding is from the same painted gauze, and is the nicest contrast to the black and white quilt top. Each quilt is finished off with hand ties in a rainbow of colors. The thread ties are the perfect throwback detail for this pass-it-down-worthy quilt.
Ideal for a new lil' baby, a chilly gram, or to keep in your trunk for *classy* picnics.
