Because of the very labor intensive handmade process this dress required, we ended up with a number of samples! From paint flaws to cutting mistakes, there's a little something something on each of these that didn't pass our quality control. We photographed the worst offenders!

Let's all imagine for a moment that we live here.
A quaint and well-built cottage situated on a grassy hill, no neighbors in sight. The interior kept sparse with a handful of handmade chairs, an heirloom quilt, and thick glass jars for drinking sun steeped iced tea. The windows always kept open, a linen curtain dancing in the wind, the occasional butterfly popping in to explore. The grass outside grows tall and wild in the spring. And after long afternoons spent wandering to gather flowers, the bright red roof beacons you home.
Making this dress is a labor of love. Each one is painted with a mix of hand painting with brushes and spray painting, and no two are exactly the same. Painted on one of our favorites - a textured cotton woven - it'll only get better with wear.
Two side pockets and a curved hem.
Don't be scared to wash and dry this baby. We promise, the paint isn't going anywhere!
