I had never really seen plains before. Like wide open, never ending, green and gold plains. Crops as far as you can see, with one tiny house and a road smack in the middle. I was stunned, in love, and wanted to stop the train. 

Instead, my camera roll is filled with screenshots of our location as we rode through this part of the country - perfect plains I wanted to go back and visit and do a photo shoot.  Earlville was one of these map points. The miles of perfectly planted crops, the row after row after row row row creating stripes. The stripes blurring as we sped past, almost creating one of those stripey optical illusions. 

This fabric is named for those plains. The beautiful stripes of green, balanced with an earthly natural cotton. The lightweight weave of this cotton and linen blend is perfect for so many seasons, light and airy in warmer seasons, and so easy to layer over and under when the temperature drops.
