Meet our new friend the Sweat Crop. Even though we just met, he's very high on our Summer packing list.
The shape is so cozy to wear. The open sleeves and subtle high low hem lend this style a surprising amount of artistry and shape. And the soft fleece-backed terry is like a hug from your favorite throw. It's the piece we dream of slipping on when we come in from a day in the sun, the AC making us chilly immediately.
And can we talk about the surface design? We love to delight ourselves and this was one of those days in the Art Dept. Each Sweat Crop is sewn first and painted with a mix of brushes, rollers, and sponges. Then, while the paint is still dripping wet, the entire piece is then *dramatic twist!* smooshed into a tight ball and dunked into a bucket of water!! I know – it feels so wrong, but looks so right. We're obsesssssssssed with all the intricacies the paint takes on, it looks as if someone submerged an abstract painting in a pool, the light refracting the areas of color in magical ways.
Needless to say, each piece is one of a kind and a total work of art, and we think you're gonna love em'.
