At STATE, we believe clothing can hold meaning — not just beauty, but intention. This week we’re introducing a special piece we made to channel our energy into action. A portion of proceeds from our new Bloom Dress will support organizations that provide legal assistance and resources for immigrant families — helping people navigate complex systems and stay together during uncertain times.

The Bloom Dress is a celebration of connection. Every piece is fully hand-painted with delicate pink flowers and winding vines, each one intertwining like the communities we hold close. No two are exactly alike. Every brushstroke carries intention and love.

Made from our favorite 100% cotton gauze, this piece is airy, breathable, and the kind of fabric you reach for again and again. The silhouette is our beloved Dart Dress style, featuring a sculptural dart at the back center neck to create beautiful, flowing volume, two soft darts at the sleeves for subtle shape and movement, and easy side pockets (because always).

Each dress is fully hand-painted and part of a limited run — due to the nature of our small team, we can only produce a small batch to keep up with our lead times. But if demand is there, we will do our best to release another batch as soon as the first round is cut, painted, sewn and shipped. 

50% of all sales from the Bloom Dress are being donated to the Immigrant Defense Project (IDP) — an organization dedicated to defending immigrant rights and protecting families where criminal and immigration systems intersect.
